Alvey’s Signs: A History of Quality & Service

Ken Alvey started his sign business in the family’s garage in Evansville, Indiana, in 1970. Beginning with fabrication and painting of signs for local customers, his company soon grew to serve a broad base of satisfied customers.

Keeping up with clients’ needs and expanding signage techniques and styles, Alvey continued to add more products to his company’s capabilities. In addition, Alvey’s customer and regional sales opportunities expanded, and the company quickly outgrew that garage. Additional sign-maker professionals joined the company, including Ken Alvey’s wife, Helen, who continues to be involved and serves as Vice-President of Alvey’s Sign Company, Inc.

Today, Alvey’s Signs custom designs, manufactures, and installs virtually any type or size signage for customers throughout the Evansville, Indiana, region and the nation. From sign design to installation and service, Alvey’s Signs is a true one-source sign company, able to provide every element of your signage needs. As a full-service sign company, Alvey’s guarantees your project will meet highest quality standards and be delivered on-time and on budget.

The company’s facilities, located on Evansville’s northeast side, have grown to include five buildings providing more than 54,000 square feet of space on seven acres. There is plenty of space dedicated to producing highest quality signs from start to finish, and there is plenty of room to grow.

Our location, with easy access to interstate highways and near the Evansville Regional Airport, means Alvey’s Signs can easily and efficiently serve our regional and national customers.

We are proud of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and equipment, but we remain hands-on at every step of the process. Our customers’ satisfaction is a paramount value, and we believe personal involvement with each project guarantees that every sign exceeds the client’s expectations for quality, color, visibility, and durability.
